 All the keys that are used in our pieces are original vintage keys dating from the 1920's, 30's, 40's, and 50's. They are glass, celluloid and bakelite.We use only authentic typewriter keys... the typewriters are bought from all over the United States. You will never see a reproduction key in any of the jewellry. All keys are cleaned and polished preserving their natural patina. The keys have age appropriate imperfections, however alot of care is taken with what keys are used to give the best look to your piece of wearable and timeless art! |
