Paperklip Design is a small Australian company creating beautiful things from paper. Based on the concept of Danish paper-cutting, we specialise in decorative paper chains for children’s rooms, gift tags, traditional paper Christmas decorations and custom shop signage.

Each piece is hand-cut and the paper hand selected from a delightful range of decorative papers. Our aim is to make each piece unique, beautiful and fun.

The company is the creative focus of designer Melinda Leach who conceived Paperklip after a Christmas holiday to Denmark in 2004. The company continues to evolve and its products are now stocked in a range of children’s stores and home interior retailers across Australia. Melinda has a background in architectural drafting, furniture sales and craft.

Melinda is the mother of three children and has previously lived in Copenhagen for four years with her Danish partner.
